How the dollar could appear before the United States, and how the appearance of the bill changed over time

Surprisingly, the dollar can be called a monetary unit that arose long before the appearance of the country whose national currency it is now. It all began in the Czech Republic in the 16th century, when they began to mint silver coins with the image of St. Joachim. They received the name "joachimstaler", but later they began to call them in abbreviated form - "thaler", and in some countries "daler". In addition, the so-called Spanish pesos. Together with the immigrants, the dealers came to the territory of North America, and when it won its independence, the US Congress announced the creation of its own coin - the American dollar. Thus, the long-known word "dollar" has become a symbol of the American national currency. The first dollars, like thalers, were made with the addition of silver, and later they began to issue paper dollar bills. Since then, the appearance of this bill has changed many times.
