BLUE NOTE RECORDS
Blue Note Records began its journey as a jazz label in New York in 1939, when German immigrant Alfred Lyon recorded boogie-woogie pianists Albert Ammons and Mead Lux Lewis. Since then, Blue Note Records has been publishing various types of jazz, maintaining the status of the most respected jazz label in the world with a rich history. He recorded many famous musicians and became a great innovator in both music and design.
CASIO G-SHOCK
When the CASIO G-SHOCK appeared, the watch was considered a fragile item. The story began with the dream of a young Japanese engineer and CASIO developer Kikuo Ibe about creating a watch that "does not break even if you drop it." The concept of Triple 10 was originally developed: the watch must withstand a drop from a height of 10 meters, a water pressure of 10 bar, and a battery life of 10 years. The first watch CASIO G-SHOCK DW5000 was released in 1983 - two years after the launch of the project. Thus began the unique G-SHOCK path, during which the changes affected everything except the 1983 base design.
