Don’t step on the fish: there is a unique flooded cafe in Vietnam

Cafe with animals is a trend of recent years. Throughout the world, you can find places where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the company of cats, dogs and even sheep. But Amix Coffee has surpassed them all, because here you can relax surrounded by dozens of ornamental fish swimming at your feet.

A one of a kind cafe located in Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City. Here, on two flooded floors, both small and rather large fish are found. The cafe floors are reinforced with a double-layer plastic tarp, and the furniture legs are wrapped in cotton to soften the friction and prevent the tarp from breaking through. Everyone who wants to get into this unique institution should first remove their shoes and wash their feet thoroughly.

23-year-old cafe owner Nguyen Duoc Hoa dreamed of taking the concept of a cafe with animals to a completely different level. And he succeeded!

Amix Coffee uses a triple water filtration system, due to which it is always crystal clear. The staff acknowledges that the hardest thing is to prevent injuries and excessive stress for the fish.
