The beauty of the emerald island with a surf guide - only at MarBella Corfu

The hotel company MarBella Collection launches a unique tour on the SUP-board in the picturesque hotel MarBella Corfu. Hotel guests will be able to explore the coast of Corfu and all its beauty, gliding along the sea with an experienced guide who will tell you about the beauties and sights of the island.

The MarBella Corfu team combined the exciting SUP-boarding with an orientation tour. The starting point will be the bay right in front of the hotel, where the so-called Posidonia meadows spread - a unique location with rare algae and boiling sea life. Here you can see a huge variety of fish that find shelter from predators in underwater meadows. The meadows of Posidonia also play a vital role in many environmental aspects.

Together with the SUP-boarding instructor, hotel guests can enjoy the island of Corfu, admiring the rich underwater life. Thanks to the tour, hotel guests will also be able to see the ancient fortress, which dates back to the 6th century, and the castle of Agios Ioannis Peristeron, located on a hill near the hotel, as well as 1000-year-old olive groves and the artificial island of Pontikonisi, built in the 11th century and known for the chapel of Pantocrator.

Excursions at SUP surfing started in June 2019 at MarBella Corfu and take place at 11 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
