Sydney is covered by a cloudy tsunami! Awesome sight!

At the end of last year, the inhabitants of New South Wales (Australia) were struck by a truly rare, amazing and terrifying spectacle called the “cloud tsunami”. It looked like a startling phenomenon, hanging over Bondi Beach, like a massive wave falling from the sky and stretching for several kilometers. Nearby areas were warned of the approach of severe thunderstorms, showers and winds.

“A cloudy tsunami is formed due to cold thunderstorm outflows that dramatically raise moist air. Such outflows usually precede thunderstorms,” said weather forecaster Christopher Webb. forms strong gusts of wind, and then moist air rises sharply due to the outflow of thunder.
