Face masks have become part of fashion in China

Beijing has repeatedly come under the dense veil of smog, marked by a "red" level of danger. During such days, residents and guests of the city are advised not to leave their homes and not open windows, or to use protective masks, or even better - respirators. And these measures are not unfounded, because the limit level of harmful substances sometimes exceeds the norm by five times.

However, the poisonous smog here is already perceived as something ordinary. Fighting him is more like fighting with windmills.

Given the growing number of industries and the number of vehicles, Beijing is unlikely to be able to enjoy clean air in the future.

Breathing in local air full of harmful substances is quite hazardous to health.

In order to somehow protect their body from the harmful effects of smog, residents try to use protective masks and respirators. Due to the high demand, they have already become an integral part of Chinese fashion.

But air problems are only part of the trouble. Smog also results in reduced visibility. The smoke is so dense that it’s hard to see through it.

According to the townspeople, clear skies in Beijing can be seen only half the days of the year, while the rest is filled with thick, caustic haze.

Official figures say that there are approximately 90-125 smoke days per year.

Just a few hours in the "main world factory" during smog without a mask is enough to feel a chemical taste in your mouth. Therefore, if you find yourself in Beijing, do not forget to wear a mask.

And if you pay attention to passers-by in the Chinese capital, then marvel at the variety of street masks.

Masks are here for every taste and color. This is really something amazing.

Although, those who are more serious about their health prefer respirators. And such masks in terms of protection effectiveness raise some doubts. Perhaps, in comparison with respirators, they are more decorative.

However, they look pretty cute and original.

Masks are sold in stores where a wide range is presented.
