It turned out that there are species of bees that sleep in flowers, and it looks fantastic

Bees are one of the most amazing insects on the planet. In addition, they are very important for humanity, because a third of all the food we eat depends on the tireless work of these wonderful creatures. Of course, bees not only work seriously every day, they, like any other living creature, need rest and sleep.

Not so long ago, Joe Neely, specializing in wildlife photography, was fortunate enough to capture a truly magical and mesmerizing picture - two bees hugged were sleeping in the very center of the flower. To see this is a rarity and real happiness.

The sleep of bees is a very interesting phenomenon in itself. For example, one of the American researchers of bees says that they have no eyelids, therefore it is impossible to see a bee with eyes closed.

It is also interesting that their sleep changes with age. Younger individuals sleep less, and those older can afford from half an hour to an hour and a half of rest every night.

Many members of this family sleep in the hives. However, the bees of the species Diadasia diminuta chose a more romantic and elegant place for their night - flower buds. So the scenes of their sleep are perfection itself!
